An Awesome Easter Weekend

This is my first blog entry. I was singing this weekend at Granger Community Church and all I can say is, "WOW!" What an incredible weekend it was! We had SEVEN services and had about 10,200 people attending. The 7:30pm service on Saturday night was the most exciting. We had 2,932 people there. The people were sitting on the floor up front and in some of the aisles. There were people in chairs in the atrium and the cafe area. Plus, there weren't any other parking spaces available (all 1100 of them were full), so they started parking people in the grass next to the building!
I have to say, that we have some of the most talented people anywhere, when it comes to GCC. The production people, the technical folks, the musicians, the first impressions and traffic teams, the children's workers and everyone else who serves in a behind-the-scenes job. I am continually awed by the people who design our sets. Just when I thought I had seen the best design possible...they surprise me with something even cooler! If you've never been to a service at GCC, you really need to come check it out. Such a great place. The welcoming people, warm friendly atmosphere, kid and adult friendly, casual attire, a cafe where you can grab a coffee (plain or fancy), awesome music and relatable messages about everyday topics and themes. Plus, their are five different weekend service timesto choose from, so you can come to any of them and experience the same exact service (just in case you wanna come back with a friend). We just started our newest series, "Unlocking the DiVinci Code." It's promises to be another good one. If you haven't ever been to GCC, you can check out their website at www.gccwired.com.
