I was just sitting and watching the NASCAR race from Bristol, Tennessee. I am enjoying all the pre-race hoopla. The driver introductions, the presentation of colors and then the announcer introduces the person who will deliver the invocation. I am shocked as he introduces.....yep you got it....Pastor Dave Engbrecht from Napannee Missionary Church. His prayer was a great one. Better than most of the meaningless drivel that gets thrown into the air and falls to the ground a few feet away. A prayer of protection for the drivers, pit crews, race officials...and a request that as we ive out the race of life that God would help us to live it out with the help of the Holy Spirit. Great job Dave......Now 'Boogity, boogity, boogity! Let's go racin' boys!!!"
