This is Ryan & Rachel.....my son and daughter. They are away now, out of the country, making a difference in the world. They left Saturday on a missions trip to Monterrey, Mexico, with others from Lifeline, the high school ministry at Granger Community Church. They are working at children's homes (orphanges) and doing work that will assist an organization there called Back 2 Back Ministries. They are doing such things as pouring cement, digging trenchs, plumbing, as well as playing with the children and reaching out to the people in the most poverty-stricken areas of Monterrey.
My wife and I are so very proud of our children and look forward to all the stories of their adventure. We follow their progress each day, on a blog which has been setup by the leaders of the trip. If you know my kids, or just want to check out what's going on, feel free to check out the site at:
