Pictures of Dad

Today was my dad's funeral and yesterday was his viewing. There were so many people! The folks at the funeral home told us that over 600 people came yesterday to pay their respects.





At one point, I remember someone saying that seeing all the people was an incredible testimony to his life. I have been thinking a lot about that today. If that is true and all those people who were there was a testimony to the people he touched, how many more did he touch who were not there and we'll never know about (this side of heaven)?




If you ever had the opportunity to meet my father, he would have struck you as a quiet and humble man who loved his family and stood fast in his convictions. He was an incredible man and if you never had the honor of meeting him, perhaps a few of these pictures will give you just a taste of who he was.
